ARTES LATINAS: Calle Sur has begun work on its new “Cancun Project” (Latin folk & jazz piano – see Preview). Artes Latinas is a leader in making the performing arts more environmentally responsible: it just paid over $1,700 to offset the carbon footprint of ALL of the artists who showcased with Artes Latinas in 2019. Americas3 is looking for a last-minute, discounted, community performance or educational engagement opportunity on May 21st of 2020 in the greater Chicago area.
EL VEZ has avails Cinco de Mayo, Day of the Dead, and Christmas, 2020. Also looking for fill-in dates in the Midwest in early April, 2020 and summer festivals. El Vez is also available, as always, to emcee events.

CITADEL + COMPAGNIE has had a very busy 2019 and they are so looking forward to 2020! Starting with five showcases of two exciting works at APAP, they are also working on a remount of the master work Nuit, by Jean-Pierre Perreault, which will be ready for touring in early 2021. C&C has shows for varying-sized casts ready to go on the road immediately.

PACIFICO DANCE COMPANY sparks up the new year with three current works inspired by the Jarocho, Oaxaqueno and Yaki Indians. Artistic Director, a second generation Mexican American, highlights her deeply rooted background and draws from her own life experiences to create exciting and sought out innovative works. The three suites will be debuted at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Summer of 2020!

RIRIE-WOODBURY DANCE COMPANY, has launched its 56th season featuring four of the world’s most sought-after choreographers Ann Carlson, Andrea Miller, Kate Weare, and Yin Yue. You can catch them in their home state of Utah, or touring around the US throughout 2019-2020. The were chosen to showcase at ANW next week as well!

MIXED EMOTION THEATRIX has a busy Spring! They are currently prepping their community based storytelling/dance show SO NOW YOU KNOW for their California tour in March. In May and September they are presenting their full length site specific work based on The Great Gatsby, GATSBY REDUX, at two vintage sites, the Brand Library and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center. The company is developing a work based on Hans Christian Andersen’s THE SHADOW, that includes dance, vocals, shadow play and puppetry and is in the finals for a Residency through the Jerome Robbins Foundation.
Also, touring ANAIS NIN: UNBOUND through 2022.

Santa Barbara's renowned STATE STREET BALLET, in it's 25th year, continues celebrated their silver season with performances of American Masters in October, The Nutcracker in December, and looking forward to The Sleeping Beauty in the spring! Their wonderful touring productions, such as the one-of-a-kind Chaplin are available in March- May of 2021, en route to its debut in Switzerland! The Jungle Book is available as well! Stay tuned for a new production of The Little Mermaid.
