- BJM DANSE MONTREAL had the world premiere of Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's Zip Zap Zoom at UC San Diego's ArtPower! and Temecula last month. It was fantastic and now on DVD! We are looking for block dates in June/July, 2010 and for 10-11, February, April-June is available.
- JONI MITCHELL'S THE FIDDLE AND THE DRUM will be in the U.S. this February; Seattle, Irvine, Los Angeles. We are looking for January 2011 dates to block in the South and in the East. Productions Director Harry Paterson will be on hand at APAP to answer questions and to discuss ELTON.
- KATE MACLEOD released her latest CD, and is busy at radio stations around the U.S. We are still booking Spring 2010 and summer festivals.
- PERLA BATALLA toured New Mexico last month, and is working with David Batteau on a new album to be released in 2010 in time for her Love Show at UCLAlive on February 12. Summer festivals are now available, and a Canadian and Northwest USA tour is being created for September 2010.
- RUDOLF BUDGINAS is enjoying his multi-city tour, and you can enjoy it with him at http://www.rudolfpiano.blogspot.com/. Please contact us for comps!
- MITCHELL ROSE is releasing a new film that is intended to continually morph, and will be added into THE MITCH SHOW. Check this out - :

MONGER
Barak Marshall's MONGER is a physical-theater work for 10 dancers, MONGER tells the story of a group of servants, trapped in the basement of an abusive mistress's house. The score for MONGER combines elements of Gypsy, Balkan with classical and rock music. NDP subsidy is available. Touring the U.S. in July 2010 and late April/May-June, 2011. Also, upcoming is availabilty for Barak's latest work, ROOSTER.
PERLA BATALLA
Perla is prepping for her holiday show and a December tour in CA. In January she has a short residency at Napa Valley Opera House. She will be releasing 2 new CD's in the next few months, and we are looking for summer festivals!
RUDOLF BUDGINAS

KATE MACLEOD
Kate's new recording, Blooming, is now out in stores and hitting radio stations by storm. The recording was produced by Tim O'Brien in Nashville, and features Darrell Scott, Byron House and Kenny Malone.

Romulo Larrea returns to the U.S. in 10-11 with his new production Spotlight on Tango!
YUVAL RON
Yuval's Seeker of Truth has been
chosen to be listed on the Grammy Ballots for "Best Traditional World Music Album"! 10-11 tours include November in the southwest and April/May in the northwest.
LOUISE LECAVALIER
Premiering in 09-10, and touring the U.S. in 2010/11, DV8's Nigel Charnock creates "Children" for Louise and Patrick LaMothe. This month she is in the studio with Édouard Lock to reinvent selected duets he created for her while with La La La Human Steps. New dates to see the works together are coming in for May and June in Montreal and Europe.
COLEMAN LEMIEUX & COMPAGNIE
CLC was in the U.S. last week in Louisiana and California. They tour nonstop in Canada this winter. For 10-11, they premiere Laurence Lemieux's new work for 7 dancers, and in 11/12, James Kudelka remounts a work he created for Ballet BC...new title Adam and Eve and Steve. Hymn to the Universe with Sun Ra Arkestra tours next fall in Canada, Northeast U.S. venues can join in!
LEINE & ROEBANA
Leine & Roebana offers the double bill footNote ('07) + Ascent ('09) by Andrea Leine and Harijono Roebana. The DVD is now available. The company tours throughout Europe this season. Touring the U.S. in 10-11.
DO JUMP! EXTREMELY PHYSICAL THEATER
Do Jump's new show, Tiger Lilly and Sunny Lu: Cirque du Chat includes trampoline, furniture, flying human cat toys and live music from rock and roll to classical. Artful athletic and hilarious, Tiger Lilly and Sunny Lu is great for audiences of all ages. Come see them next month in Portland.

BJM DANSE MONTREAL
Zip Zap Zoom by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa premiered in San Diego and Temecula last month. They are back in the U.S. this coming April in the east. BJM offers stunning works by Mauro Bignozetti, Aszure Barton, and Roderigo Pendereira as well. June/July, 2010 has some fill-ins, and we are routing 10-11.
ALBERTA BALLET:
Joni Mitchell's The Fiddle and The Drum
and ELTON
Joni Mitchell's music and Jean Grand-Maître's choreography! his is very much Joni's project. They tour in the U.S. in February, 2010, and will return in 10-11. We are seeking January/February 2011 venues in the East and Southeast). ELTON premieres in May, 2010 in Calgary.
ON ENSEMBLE
ON offers a collaboration with Patrick Graham in the east in January 2011. At the end of that month, ON has avails in the Northwest. Taiko 2.0 follows with avails in February-March, 2011.

CALLE SUR
LOS LLANEROS
Calle Sur has block avails in the southwest in February, 2011. Their "Cowboy" program including Ed & Karin, Alfredo Ortiz, and a chamber orchestra of 8 people tours in 10-11. It's a family-oriented program that could include a local children's choir, and even symphony orchestra.
EL VEZ
El Vez is touring his XMAS show this month. He returns to Teatro Zinzanni in San Francisco this winter, and is available for summer festivals.
ORCHID ENSEMBLE
Orchid Ensemble has block availability in Canada this summer, and in the Southwest in October, 2010. There have been several requests to bring Ghost Project to the U.S. in Spring 2011.

HELIOS DANCE THEATER
For 10-11, Beautiful Monster, dealing with America's fascination with vampires, will feature 10 dancers, designer Rami Kashou, Dreamworks director Chris Miller (Shrek, Madagascar), and music by Grant Lee Phillips and Rob Carin. Also available: The Lotus Eaters, a gorgeous and luscious work based on Homer's Odyssey.
PACIFICO DANCE COMPANY
Pacifico peformed on the Latin Grammys last month and premiered a new work at Cerritos CFPA. They have a block in the southwest in May, 2011.
LISS FAIN DANCE
Liss Fain Dance launched the International Dance Exchange-Artists (IDEA); a series of exchanges with international choreographers. Next collaboration is with Dansgroep Amsterdam, following Saturday's split bill with Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie at Cerritos Performing Arts Center.
